Schiavoni’s Market has been open since 1932 and offers a deli and bakery in addition to traditional groceries and fresh seafood caught daily. Provisions is a Natural Foods Market with a café and juice bar that is open from 9 AM to 3P M daily. Provisions stocks local produce, meat and poultry, organic snacks and candy, gluten-free options, and other traditional grocery items with a focus on organic and earth-friendly options. Cavaniola’s Gourmet Kitchen is a cheese and wine shop open Wednesday through Monday. Upcoming options will include truffle salt and a custom blend of spices for The Cavaniola Rub.

  • Baron’s Cove, located under a mile from Sag Harbor real estate, offers breakfast, brunch, and dinner. Breakfast options include multi-grain avocado toast, berry smoothie, pancakes, and more. Brunch options include a pastry basket, jumbo shrimp cocktail, lobster roll, steak frites, and more. For dinner, guests can choose from long island oysters, calamari fritto, grilled half chicken, grilled cauliflower steak, and more. Families with children can treat their young ones to mac & cheese, chicken tenders, and more. To finish your meal, be sure to try one of the delicious desserts, such as the blackberry crumble or lavender crème brûlée.

  • Harbor Market and Kitchen is open daily from 8 AM to 6 PM and is located under half a mile from Sag Harbor real estate. Menu options include breakfast sandwiches, omelets, fish tacos, chicken tenders, mac and cheese, short rib beef chili, and more. 

 

  • Le Bilboquet Sag Harbor is a French bistro franchised from the popular Manhattan location. The restaurant, located approximately half a mile from Sag Harbor houses for sale, has a dress code that prohibits beachwear, sportswear, graphic tees, graphic hats, and any other clothing that displays offensive, divisive, or political imagery or text. Appetizers include endives au Roquefort, beets & hearts of palm salad, and more. Entrées include moules marinières et frites, paillard de poulet, le poulet Cajun, and more. For dessert, there are several options, including the popular la tarte tatin and la mousse au chocolat.
 
  • Lulu Kitchen & Bar is open Wednesday-Monday weekly and is located under half a mile from Sag Harbor real estate. Stop by for brunch, lunch, dinner, dessert, or cocktails and win. Sunday brunch options include a vast list of raw bar options (oysters, top neck clams, and more), the signature heirloom cauliflower, pizza, jambon beurre, falafel sandwich, and more. Lunch options include pan-roasted chicken liver, grilled octopus, pizzas, sandwiches, the signature cheeseburger, bone-in halibut, and more. Dinner expands on lunch options to add additional choices like grilled butternut squash steak, grilled buttermilk chicken, cowboy ribeye, and more. For dessert, try the half-baked chocolate macadamia cookie, banana trio, or one of the other delicious options. 
 
  • Tutto Il Giorno is open seven nights a week starting at 5 p.m. It is located on Main Street in downtown Sag Harbor and is an excellent stop for those seeking authentic Italian cuisine. Stop by for an antipasto tricolore (a three-colored appetizer) harkening back to the red, white, and green Italian flag. The first-course options are plentiful and feature a variety of different pasta types, while the second-course includes delicious meat dishes. Try one of their many delectable desserts to cap off the evening.
 
  • Dopo La Spiaggia, which means “after the beach,” is another Italian restaurant. Open for dinner Monday-Friday at 5:30 p.m. and at noon on weekends, this is a delightful spot to try even more authentic Italian dishes. Try a “fritto misto,” a mix of fried seafood, or indulge in the bistecca, a hearty steak dish. You won’t want to miss the dessert tiramisu at the end of your meal!
 
  • Sen Japanese Restaurant is open for lunch Friday through Monday from 12-2:45 p.m., then opens every day at 4 p.m. for dinner. Service ends at 9 p.m. every day but Friday and Saturday, when it’s extended until 10 p.m. The restaurant has been around since 1994 and is an excellent spot for a glass of sake or to indulge in one of the many ramen options. Try Rock Shrimp Tempura before your meal and then delight in one of their many sushi plates.

Open from May 1st through October 17th each year, the museum showcases the area’s whaling history, as well as a calendar of events that include film festivals, lectures by experts in ocean-based fields, and more.

Havens Beach is located in Sag Harbor, under a mile from Sag Harbor real estate, and welcomes beachgoers to enjoy shell hunting and walks along the oceanfront while watching boats pass by. Foster Memorial Beach, more commonly known as Long Beach, allows swimming and has lifeguards on duty during the hours from 10 AM to 5 PM. The beach closes daily at 9 PM.
 
For outdoor recreation, be sure to visit local parks like Mashashimuet Park and John Steinbeck Waterfront Park. Mashashimuet Park is located at 395 Main Street near Sag Harbor houses for sale and offers walking trails, public tennis courts, and fields that may be reserved for private use. John Steinbeck Waterfront Park is currently under construction in Sag Harbor and will be a 1.25-acre park focused on the restoration of local native plants, with winding paths devoted to historic literary and maritime moments in the village’s storied past.
